Dear Colleagues,

      We are pleased to present the latest issue of the scientific and practical journal "Comorbidity Neurology", reflecting current trends in the development of neurology within the framework of interdisciplinary medicine and the concept of comorbidity. The structure of this issue has  been designed in accordance with the principles of evidence-based medicine and aims to integrate fundamental and clinical aspects of the  diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of neurological disorders. 
     The section of original research focuses on the application of non-invasive brain-computer interfaces combined with upper limb  vibrostimulation in patients with severe post-stroke paresis. The presented findings demonstrate the potential of modern neurotechnologies for optimizing  rehabilitation programs; however, further confirmation through multicenter studies with long-term follow-up is required. At the same time, the issue raises  important  questions regarding the mechanisms underlying the observed clinical effects, including the contribution of neuroplasticity and nonspecific sensorimotor activation. 
      Special attention is also devoted to chronic facial neuropathy considered as a possible manifestation of comorbid vascular pathology. This approach highlights the need for a deeper analysis of vascular risk factors and their role in the development of peripheral neurological  syndromes, which is essential for improving diagnostic algorithms and therapeutic strategies. 
       A substantial part of the issue is dedicated to review articles. One review presents the concept of stratified stroke treatment based on the  integration  of neuroprotection, neuroregeneration, and medical rehabilitation approaches. Despite the conceptual significance of such integrative  models, they require further evaluation from the perspective of evidence-based medicine due to the heterogeneity of the currently available evidence. 
     In the context of healthcare digitalization, the issue discusses the application of digital technologies, including chatbots and remote  monitoring systems, for the diagnosis and management of patients with depressive disorders in general medical practice. These tools demonstrate  promising potential for improving healthcare accessibility; however, important limitations remain, particularly regarding clinical validation and the  security of personal data processing. 
       Another review article is devoted to capillaroscopy as a method for assessing microcirculation. The authors emphasize the importance of microcirculatory disturbances as a universal pathophysiological mechanism across a broad spectrum of diseases, as well as the need for standardization of methodological approaches and interpretation criteria. 
    The clinical case section presents a case of central demyelination of the corpus callosum, illustrating the diagnostic complexity of rare demyelinating disorders and underscoring the importance of an interdisciplinary approach in clinical practice. 
      The issue concludes with materials dedicated to the outcomes of the All-Russian Spring School on Comorbidity Neurology 2026 and the All-Russian Forum "Neurology of The Future: Science, Practice, Innovations" in Saint Petersburg. These reports reflect the key directions in the development of the professional neurological community and emphasize the translation of scientific advances into practical healthcare. 
     Thus, this issue demonstrates contemporary approaches to the management of patients with neurological disorders in the setting of  comorbidity, highlighting the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, critical evaluation of emerging technologies, and the continued advancement of scientific research.
