Dear colleagues and readers!

We are pleased to present to you the next issue of the scientific journal "Comorbidity Neurology",  which contains up-to-date and solicited materials reflecting current trends and challenges in the field of neurology and related disciplines. In this issue we tried to cover a wide range of topics, from the consequences of acute vascular accidents to the peculiarities of neurocognitive development in childhood and the prospects for the use of non-pharmacological methods of treatment in comorbid conditions. 
The issue presents the results of studies devoted to the dynamics of cognitive disorders in the recuperation period of stroke, as well as the role of hyperhomocysteinemia in the development of various pathogenetic variants of this formidable disease. Particular attention is given to comorbid conditions,  notably, to the analysis of neurocognitive disorders in older children suffering from bronchial asthma. These studies emphasise the importance of an integrated approach to the management of patients with co-morbidities, taking into account not only the underlying diseases, but also their impact on cognitive function. 
In the present issue of the journal you will also find materials devoted to the possibilities of using balneological technologies in anti-aging programs, which indicates the growing interest in nonmedicamentous methods of prevention and treatment of age-associated diseases. In addition, a review of the problem of loneliness, in particular, the Hikikomori phenomenon in the youth environment in the post-Soviet area is presented. This work raises important social and psychological aspects directly relevant to neurological practice.
In the clinical case section a detailed analysis of polymorphic brain lesions as a leading manifestation of infective endocarditis is presented. This case demonstrates the complexity of diagnosis and the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in identifying rare but dangerous neurological complications of infective endocarditis. The issue is rounded off with reviews of the past All-Russian Spring School 2025 on Comorbidity Neurology and the All-Russian Forum "NEUROLOGY OF THE FUTURE: Science, Practice, Innovations", where the latest achievements and prospects of development of neurological science and practice were presented. We sincerely hope that the materials presented in this issue will be useful to both practitioners and researchers, and will serve as a stimulus for further research in the field of comorbidity neurology.
