Dear colleagues, dear friends!

I am pleased and proud to present to you the next edition of our medical journal dedicated to one of the most relevant and multifaceted topics of modern medicine - comorbid neurology. In recent decades, comorbidity has become the centre of attention not only for clinicians and researchers, but also for health authorities all over the world. It is no exaggeration to say that understanding and effectively managing patients with comorbid conditions is key to improving the quality of life for millions of people. Comorbid neurology is a field of medicine where the traditional boundaries of different medical disciplines intersect. It combines the results of neurology, psychiatry, endocrinology, cardiology and many other fields of medicine, because patients often suffer from several diseases that exacerbate each other. Central and peripheral nervous system disorders, psychiatric disorders, metabolic dysfunction and cardiovascular disease all form a mosaic
picture that requires a comprehensive approach to diagnosis and treatment. Our community of medical professionals is at the forefront of research into comorbid neurology, and the publication of this issue emphasises the importance of interdisciplinary research and integrative approaches. The articles included in this issue are a mixture of theoretical reasoning and practical examples aimed at improving the understanding and treatment of comorbid conditions. Particular attention is paid to new diagnostic and therapeutic methods, the development of new pharmacological agents and the individualisation of patient care.
I sincerely hope that the materials presented in this issue of our journal will be useful to both practitioners and researchers. I am sure that they will inspire further research and innovative approaches in this important field of medicine.
