October 2024 was an eventful year for our professional community. On 11-12 October, the Comorbid Neurology 2024 Congress was successfully held, which brought together specialists from 8 countries. This event allowed us not only to exchange experience and ideas, but also to outline the prospects for further research. As part of the congress, an international competition for young scientists was held, where participants were able to demonstrate their innovative approaches and developments.

We are proud to announce that the results of the congress were highly appreciated in the international arena, and the journal «Comorbidity Neurology», as the main information resource of the congress, played a key role in covering this event. An international board of experts, represented by leading specialists from different countries, provided recommendations and statements that formed the basis for future research and publications in the field of comorbid neurology.

In this issue we focus on cerebrovascular pathology and pain syndromes. These topics remain among the most significant in neurology, requiring a serious approach and modern methods of treatment. The pages of the journal «Comorbidity Neurology» traditionally present diagnostic and treatment algorithms, which were developed taking into account the latest scientific data and clinical recommendations.
